I received an email saying my package was delivered to a parcel box.

You shouldn t pry open your mailbox because it s against the law and also because our carriers can t deliver mail to unlocked or unsecured boxes.
Leave a note taped to the outside of the box where the carrier will see it.

If it s a usps mailbox and your key no longer works you can get a new lock keys installed free of charge.
I called the usps local postmaster to request my mailbox lock be replaced this was suggested by my mail carrier that verified with me my lock is no longer operable.
If the regular carrier for some reason keeps the keys in the lockers themselves so he doesn t have to deal with it someone may have mixed up the keys and you could have the wrong one in your box.

If the lpo does not service the mailbox this means the property owner or manager is responsible for the maintenance.
I file a claim to which i only received we have to assume your package is lost.
If the package just fits in the locker sometimes it can block the mechanism from turning.
If the box is owned and maintained by the us postal service and is damaged broken then contact your local post office.
